Wordle.ie is free to play and always will be - ads are what pay for hosting and keep it running. If you'd rather not see them, €2.99/year removes every Ezoic and Google AdSense ad on the site, on whichever browser you activate it on.

There's no account or login - ad-free access is linked to your browser via a private cookie, not a username and password. If you play on more than one device or browser (phone and laptop, Safari and Chrome, etc.), each one needs to be activated separately using Restore your purchase with the email address you paid with. We'll email you a one-click link to activate that device too.
Cancelling is entirely self-service through Stripe, the payment provider we use - there's no need to email us. Use Manage or cancel your subscription above (or in the footer of any page) to open your own secure Stripe account page, where you can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals - you keep ad-free access until the end of your current billing period, and there are no refunds for time already paid.

This was a caching issue where your browser occasionally reused an older, ad-showing copy of a page for a few minutes before switching to the ad-free version - not a problem with your subscription itself. It's now fixed; if you still see it happen, a normal refresh will always show the correct ad-free page immediately.
